I loved my experience at Skin Laser! I usually don’t get facials, but now I cant wait to get another one! My skin feels amazing; it looks younger and brighter! April is the best. She is very gentle and takes her time and makes sure every pore and wrinkle gets enough attention! The laser treatment is painless and really shows results. And the relaxing mask at the end is the perfect finishing touch. A+

You can have a new face after just one visit to Skin Laser. I just went to see April, and she was amazing. My skin has not looked this good since I was a baby! She talked me through every step & every product she used on my uber sensitive skin. I had a previous disaster after a micro visit to an asian salon in LA where they practically scraped my face off & my face didn't recover for 2 weeks! April was very gentle & I didn't even have any redness afterwards!! She's very knowledgeable about all skin treatments & products. I give her an A+++.  The chocolate scrub is out of this world yummy & your skin will be glowing when you walk out. You won’t want to wear an ounce of make up for a week. This relaxing & rejuvenating treatment is so much better than getting needles in your face.

I wish bad skin upon all of my friends so that they too can experience the miracle worker powers of this place.  Ok, maybe I wouldn't take it that far, but I really do want them all to see for themselves how amazing Marta is.  Ever since I moved to NY, my skin started behaving differently and breaking out randomly.  Marta did an amazing job sitting down with me and figuring out exactly what my issues were instead of just applying a one-size-fits-all mask, spritzing  me with some lavender scented elixir and sending me on my way.  While the studio is very clean and relaxing, it's not a frilly day spa, which is perfect for when you're looking for real results.  As many other yelpers mentioned, my skin felt and looked cleaner and smoother right away.  I really enjoyed talking to Marta throughout the process and look forward to coming back for my follow-up facial in a few weeks.

I've been going to Skin Laser Studios since earlier this year and I absolutely LOVE Marta. I've been dealing with problem acne skin for most of my adult life and after my first facial here, I noticed a HUGE difference. My skin hasn't felt this great in years!  Marta genuinely cares about your skin.  She doesn't try to sell products & will always give you samples to try before you commit to anything. Her goal is to get your skin to a stage where you don't need to come to her as much.  She is the owner & the only one who does your facial & has decades of experience. Plan accordingly to get an appointment.  She spends 1 hr & 15-30 min on each of her full facials.  I've gone to her with severly clogged skin and let me tell you - I have never had extractions like this before.  She got EVERYTHING out & was extremely patient in doing so.  I always expect to walk out of a facial with battered skin (for reference, I was a Mario Badescu client for years) but I often come out of a facial with Marta looking BETTER than when I went in.  I am not kidding!  I always do my research with everything from restaurants to facials/massages & everything in between & I highly recommend Marta if you are looking for glowing skin!

I came here for the first time last year with a Groupon for a laser facial last year.  It was a pleasant experience and I have returned multiple times after that for laser hair removal.  Marta and April are both great.  Very friendly and helpful.  They are both informative and have answered all my many questions patiently. There is usually only one of the two present so if you are calling to make an appointment, don't expect any one to pick up the phone. They are usually with someone.  The laser hair removal is affordable here too.

Great experience. I heard of Skin Laser Studios through a deal on Groupon - the facial includes microdermabrasion, laser, and a cooling mask, overall left my skin glowing.  Book ahead because I have a feeling they're going to be busy!  Open Saturdays.

I was introduced to this studio by my roommate, who has been getting facials from Marta for about 3 months now.  You can easily see a difference in your skin even after your first session.  I was new to the experience of having lasers during a facial and Marta made me extremely comfortable by explaining each step of the process.  It is definitely a medical spa, no robes or scented oils, ect.  But, it is well worth the added monthly expense for beautiful, glowing, zit free skin.

After my third visit to SKL I had to write a review!  I have been going to a dermatologist for cystic acne for over 6 months. I have been prescribed everything under the sun, from creams, to lotions, pills, chemical peels &  microdermabrasion. Nothing worked!  After reading many reviews on Yelp I decided to try SKL and I am so happy I did.  After my last visit with SKL my acne is subsiding, the scares are slowly disappearing and my skin is looking younger than ever.  The other reviews about SKL are right on the money, describing the process and the staff to a tee.  April and Marta are both very lovely.  Not only do they help fix your skin on the surface but they also give you tips on maintaining it at home.  SKL is pricey but in the end healthy skin is worth it.  You should try SKL, you won't regret it!  I sure don't.

I just had my first (perfect) skin facial with April this week.  I've always been self-conscious about my skin.  I can already see a difference, and one of my friends said that I was glowing yesterday.  April was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly as she explained every step to me.  I love that she didn't try to sell me a bunch of expensive products, either-- she had suggestions for simple, gentle products that I could buy at the drugstore for daily use, and she helped me find a long-term plan for improvement.  Even though I have sensitive skin that turns red easily, April's careful work and soothing products let me leave the office with barely any redness or swelling.  I booked my next appointment right away.

I got a brazilian laser treatment here after being recommended by a friend.  Marta is absolutely wonderful.  She is very knowledgeable about the procedure and makes sure you are very comfortable.  She explains everything so that you know what to expect.  After 5 treatments, I am smooth and bare.  Thank you, Marta!  The only downside would be the appointment booking process.  There is no receptionist.  Marta usually handles the calls when she's not in with a patient.  So, leave a message and Marta or April will surely get back to you.

Marta is simply amazing.  She gave me a facial the day before I held a huge party in my home.  I left her office with my skin feeling clean and refreshed, and much to my surprise - no red!!  I had never had a facial before, and Marta walked me through each step, as we casually chatted the entire time.  She made me feel as comfortable as if I had gone to a friend's home.  I will definitely go back again and again!
